Q:1 What drives the water cycle to work?

This has a very simple answer, the sun. Without the sun there watercycle could never start. The water from oceans and rivers would not evaporate and if there is no evaporating water there is no condensation or precipitation that could take place.

  1. Its really neat how the sun is the main reason we even have our water cycle. It all makes really clear sense why everything works, just from a hot star. Its also cool how the sun affects the direction the wind and water go, the sun has a major effect on this planet.

  2. It is cool that the sun is what drives the water cycle to work. Some wouldn't think that the sun would help the cycle because it evaporates water. But without the sun the water cycle would be all messed up. The sun is a very big deal in this process.

  3. So much information. Wow! The Water Cycle is made up of evaporation, which is when the water turns into water vapor and it goes in the air. Condensation is when the water vapor turns into liquid forming the clouds. See this is when the Cloud Formation comes in. Last is precipitation when the water comes down to earth.

  4. Its pretty cool how the sun is the main reason the water evaporates. Becasue without the sun there would be no water cycle. And then there well be no rain and none of that good stuff.
